It’s fast and easy and delicious!
- Wash 1 bag of cranberries.
- Put them in a microwave-safe bowl with 1 cup sugar. (Use 3/4 cup sugar if you like tart cranberry sauce.)
- Cover the bowl with plastic wrap, then peel back a little to let steam escape.
- Microwave on regular 4 minutes. Stir. The bowl will be hot so use pot holders.
- Microwave another 4 minutes.
- Stir in 1/4 cup brandy OR Grand Marnier OR whatever sounds good to you.
- Cool. Eat, or chill in the refrigerator. Then eat.
Wow this sounds so delicious- and not too difficult!

Thanks for the recipe, Becky!
I will try it out this Thanksgiving since that’s what I volunteered to bring to our
turkey feast at the clubhouse here in Yuma, AZ where we are spending the
winter months.

What size bag? They are getting smaller and smaller.

The only size I saw at the store which I’m guessing is the stand size now. It did seem lighter, though, now that you mention it. But the results were the same as always.

What number would work for medium on microwave?

Start with 4. If they aren’t sort of exploded, zap some more. I don’t think you can hurt them.
