Gone to heaven…

Mom died peacefully, in her sleep, on December 23. I wanted to write sooner but time got away from me.

Lorna took this video of mom a few weeks ago and I have to share it with you. If you watch all 30 seconds, I guarantee that you will laugh. (On my screen the video looks sideways until you click the play button.)

My mother would wish each and every one of you a Merry Christmas, personally and with feeling, if she could. She can’t, so I’m doing it for her. Enjoy the holidays, make memories to treasure, and it might be a good idea to take a video or two :-).

Such a sweet memory. I feel I’ve gotten to know your family through your blog. My sincerest condolences to you all, she will surely be missed……but then, in Heaven she is re-united with your sister. Blessings to all of you.

So sorry to hear of your mom’s passing. I lost mine in October. But we know how happy they are now. Free of there frail bodies and mind.

Sweet Becky, can relate to your ‘loss’, even though temporary. The sparkle in your mom’s eyes revealed her inner joy. We have the confidence of the Lord’s words that we shall be with Him in paradise. My peace is knowing my family that has gone ahead is there waiting for me when my day comes.
