Congrats to Deb G., this week’s winner! She will receive a package of Sulky’s Stick ‘n Stitch wash-away sheets and then stick the sheet to your fabric. Stitch, then wash away the paper. a bonus is that the paper also acts as a stabilizer as you sew.

I’d love this for applique.

I am not sure if the printed side is for the right side or the wrong side. Any way it looks like an interesting project for embroidery. I am not sure how you would use it in quilting.

The printed side is the right side. The sticky side attaches to the right side of the fabric.

The next quilt I will be working on has blocks of embroidery as well as pieced blocks. This may be just the thing to use. Has anyone had any trouble with the embroidery floss bleeding when the blocks have been soaked/washed?
LikeLike
It the floss isn’t colorfast, it could easily run. If I was you I’d test that before sewing with the floss. And I would do that whether for sure if the quilt might be washed in the future.
