I have used these for years while doing needle turn appliqué. I preferred them to a thimble.

I have also used these for years after trying almost every thimble and finger protector I could find. These are by far the best! They are perfect for needle-turn applique, embroidery, or any other needlework task. They are thin with just enough flexiblity to fit where you need it on your finger, and they are strong and protective. I find these a little too big. I like the round ones better but they are hard to find. I cut these in a circular shape. Otherwise, the ends tend to come loose and interfere with my stitching. I wish you carried the round ones.
