Lynnette Kleinau will receive a 15.5″ X 41″ piece of Bamboo Felt. I use this bamboo/rayon blend felt in my applique caddies. What is an applique caddy? It’s a folder used to carry or store your applique blocks once you take them off the design wall. I’ve used them for years and they are efficient, portable, and easy to carry with you. Your applique pieces stay flat and pristine until you are ready to stitch them to the block. You can find a video with instructions on how to make and use an applique caddy with bamboo felt here. Bamboo felt would be new to me!
I love that we have both hand-stitching and yoga in common. Both are complimentary tools in the zen toolkit. And both teach that sometimes the only way around a knotty problemis through!

I hand sew almost every time I travel over a half an our away. That is, if I am not driving of course! In fact the last trip I took was about a 45 minute ride. My husband’s cousin was with us and he asked me if something was wrong with me because I didn’t bring anything. Would love to try the bamboo felt in a folder method.
