Janice, among others, commented that she really wanted to see the neutral quilt. I can't show the whole thing because of the 'surprise' factor – gotta save it until the book is closer to publication. But here's a little bit of it:
Quiet, with a very cute little bird!

It looks very nice and of course neutral does not mean no contrast I see !

I love it! I happen to love taupes/browns, they’re very restful to me. And I love the plaid bird, it’s perfect!

Thank you for giving us a peek. It’s as cute as I thought it would be. Still want to see the whole quilt though. Guess I will have to learn to be patient.

This is another book I’m going to need to pick up. Meanwhile, can I suggest a section on how to select a “neutral”? I love the look. But when I go shopping every little looks neutral!
Also love the bird. I have a friend who LOVES birds and maybe I can use this bird for a small wall hanging or table runner. Can the book be out tomorrow? Not that any of us are anxious and ready!! Good thing you don’t insist we make something from a previous book first. I’d be sunk!

Thanks for the sneak peek at this lovely little bird. I’m looking forward to seeing what the final neutral quilt will be, as your photo is generating high expectations of beauty on the piceocake quilt index. alternate email mlwright29(at)hotmail(dot)com
