How's that for a shameless plea! Ami Simms is going to hang the four Smackdown mini-quilts in the Alzheimer's Art Quilt Initiative booth at Festival in Houston. You will have an option to buy any of the four Smackdown quilts rather than waiting for the auction or you can vote with a dollar for your Viewer's Choice. Vote early, vote often! All money raised goes to Alzheimer's research.

Just wanted to tell you that I went to your sons blog and read about making laundry detergent. I tried it and love how it works. My clothes don’t need fabric softner and they come really clean.
I love the smackdown quits and would pick you. Let us know who wins and take some photos – some of us won’t be seeing them in person.
