A friend (thank you, Kate!) forwarded the link to this video from Rethink Breast Cancer. There are other videos here which I have not yet watched. I gotta say that it does make me think of my breast self-checks in a different light. Less of a chore – maybe more of a grin.
If you are offended by bare-chested, muscled men and some covered-but-wiggling tushies, don't click to play. If, on the other hand, that sounds OK – enjoy!
In other news, 24 hours after surgery, I am feeling good! I am following orders and staying down for 3 days. That means I get to watch Steve clean house tomorrow. I will have some guilt that I will try to get over :-). I am thankful today for my laptop and for my handwork. And netflix. Enjoy your weekend. If you are snowed in, I hope you stay warm and have power.

Man alive – that’s given me the biggest grin!! Thanks for sharing!!! And, all the best for you – glad things are going well.

I had a tear duct (the lacrimal duct) re-opened. In fact, my doctor drilled me a new one parallel to the old, clogged one. This is the short channel that goes from the inner eye into the nose, draining the watery substances from your eye. Trust me, you really do want it to work. There is a mildly annoying shunt that stays in for 3 months but if it works, I can stand it.

Thanks Becky–very entertaining! I’ll share on FB so my daughters & dil can enjoy, too! I don’t have a smart phone, so no app for me, so don’t know if I will be any better about this bit of house keeping, but 1 daughter & the dil can benefit.
