Guess what came in the mail today? A package from That Patchwork Place to let me know that Welcome to the North Pole has been reprinted. Yay!
This is a happy book! The blocks are easy to personalize and make your own which must be why this book is still well-received even though it was first published in 1997. I am both happy and proud that these designs are as relevant now as they were then.
That Patchwork Place sent me a new copy of this book and I think that one of you should have it! Leave a comment below and a winner will be chosen randomly on Saturday (9/21/13). Be sure that you either leave your email as part of your comment or check back to see if you won. If I can't find you, I can't contact you to get your shipping address.
In other news, Christmas is coming and I'm not ready :-). More on that as time goes by.

Oh, this is so sweet! I love all of the little houses. Thanks, Becky!

Congrats! I can see why it’s reprinted. I love the variety in the house shapes and the candy canes as both decorative additions to houses and a house itself. Very fun!

I’m not anywhere near ready for Christmas either. But I’m giving myself a break this year. I recently started selling Avon, so guess what everybody’s getting for Christmas, lol!!! I’m not going to make a thing, oh the relief!

I love the shapes of the houses! The picture puts me in the mood for hot chocolate and mittens. I can almost smell the evergreen! It will be a ‘reach quilt’ for me, but .. Hey… Working outside the comfort zone make you grow! Maybe I will get lucky; my b-day is on the 29th…

Oh what memories, I made this quit for my two youngest grandchildren, it comes out each year when the decorations are brought out, and is the first thing that gets put up, it is kept rolled up so always looks pristine. I personalised it all the family having their own house and business, it was such fun to do. Just love it!! Ann
