Guess what came in the mail today? A package from That Patchwork Place to let me know that Welcome to the North Pole has been reprinted. Yay!
This is a happy book! The blocks are easy to personalize and make your own which must be why this book is still well-received even though it was first published in 1997. I am both happy and proud that these designs are as relevant now as they were then.
That Patchwork Place sent me a new copy of this book and I think that one of you should have it! Leave a comment below and a winner will be chosen randomly on Saturday (9/21/13). Be sure that you either leave your email as part of your comment or check back to see if you won. If I can't find you, I can't contact you to get your shipping address.
In other news, Christmas is coming and I'm not ready :-). More on that as time goes by.

The book looks awesome!
Thanks for the giveaway!

This is my Go=To book when I need a funky Christmas motif. Have used them for post cards, Christmas cards, kitchen towel borders, sweatshirts, even painted a pair of tennis shoes with candy canes! It’s never too far away this time of year.

Long before I actually started quilting I watched Simply Quilts with Alex Anderson. She had you and Linda on as guests explaining needleturn and reverse applique. I bought the book soon after and then started learning needleturn with large pieces and gradually getting smaller. It’s a wonderful book and is so easy to personalize!
Thanks for making such a great design!!

I don’t know how I missed this pattern in the past, but I have never seen it. It looks like such fun. Maybe if I win it I can get some of the blocks ready to work on while I recover from surgery. If now I will have to order it.

I AM THRILLED that this wonderful book is back!!! I’ve been hoping for a long time. My mom LOVED this book in the 90’s! She also loved the pattern a “Sampling of Santas” which was her masterpiece before she died of breast cancer in 2007. It would be so special to have a reprint copy.
