Wednesday Giveaway

This week’s lucky winner is Sue Holman. She will receive a package with 12 Sench Side-Threading needles in assorted sizes. This needle is perfect for burying the tails of thread that happen during machine quilting.

The needles are sturdy and a little thicker than normal. If you have failing eyesight but still want to sew, these needles will make you happy. If you are not Sue and would like to have some of these needles, click here.

  1. Becky, liking your weekly updates. I have been practicing my sewing stitch. Needles would be grand. We are coming to Sherman in Late April. Do you have a shop?

    • Hi Robin: No, I don’t have a shop. I just live in Sherman. There are several good shops around me… The Quilt Asylum moved to Van Alstyne. Heaven Is Quilting in McKinney is lovely. And there is a shop in Gainesville and I think there’s one in Whitewright, or Whitesboro… Google will know :-).

      Have fun in Sherman!

  2. Loved your workshop in Wichita. Kai scissors should give you a commission for sharing your enthusiasm for their scissors!! I bought 5 pair to give to my quilting buddies.

  3. Love the needles. I spent 20 in a poorly lit classroom trying to thread a needle. Finally I went out side and was successful. Could have used that needle and gotten farther on my project. The eye of the needle was so small a needle threader would not work.

  4. I’ve heard of these but have never tried them. Besides burying tails after quilting, I think it would also help when embroidering so fast & furious that I practically run out of thread making it hard to tie off! Lol!

  5. I would love to try this brand. The only ones that were available to me are not great, thread slipping out as I try and try to hide it. Thanks

  6. I’ve been looking for these needles for a long time. I had a sleeve of them once and loved using them. Unfortunately I lost them and would love some more!
