Wednesday Giveaway

Robin is this week’s lucky winner! She will receive a pack of 1˝ hexies by Sue Daley and a spool of white Aurifil 80wt cotton thread. Hexies are fun to sew and can be sort of mindless. That’s not a bad thing! Sometimes you need a project that does not require deep thought. The 80wt thread is my fav for EPP.

  1. Oh, would I love this!!! I haven’t done hexies yet, so I’d be learning a new skill. That’s something I try to do all the time. Plus, it’s handwork. Very relaxing and soothing in these very tumultuous times. What a pleasure that would be.

  4. As usual, appreciate all the teaching you do. It helps make us better quilters. And Jim certainly looks like he is King of all He Surveys and the One in charge.

  7. Two of my favorite things ! English paper piecing and Aurifil thread. I just finished up a sample for a class I taught at a Retreat at Bryce Canyon, and these two items were the basis of the class. I always try to make sure my class participants understand how important that thread can be – and Aurifl (in my long experience) is the absolute best. I’ve loved being able to buy the papers. Bless our grandmothers for their creativity when those were not available ! Great stuff…
