Kay is this week’s Giveaway winner! She will receive this Clover Pendant Thread Cutter. You can wear it as a pendant and use it to cut threads or turn it upside-down and insert the stem into a spool. It’s the fastest way I’ve found to cut apart chain-pieced units!
If you are not Kay and would like to have a Pendant Thread Cutter of your own, click here.

I’ll be back with another Giveaway next Wednesday. Until then you can shop for all sorts of sewing notions, books, and other fun stuff at pieceocake.com!

Love those thread cutters. Stick mine in an old wooden thread spool that’s been embellished.

I’ve always wanted one, but never saw one at any of the millions of quilt shows’ vendor booths! You really need to hire someone to take down those trees! Thanks.

I wear mine as a pendant. When I have to go into a jail or another place that you get scanned into (work – not because I misbehaved) the alarms don’t go off and I usually have a little hand piecing project with me just in case I get some free time. Mom was a great one to instill in mysef and my sisters that we never sit idle,

I had one of those thread cutters, but it’s disappeared! I love the photos of Jim in your newsletters. My orange cat loves to steal little balls of yarn and unwind them. I crocheted some balls for him, stuffed with fiberfill. He’ll play with those, but still steals from my scrap basket.

I do my best to keep my yarn out of sight :-).

Many of my friends own this item and I always think I’d remember to pick one up….but so far that hasn’t happened. I’ve heard excellent reviews on them. This will definitely be a nice win for someone.

This is a great little tool! I’ve had one for years and especially used it for travel (it doesn’t freak-out the security people like a scissor does).
