Wednesday Giveaway

Michele Barrowcliff is this week’s very lucky winner! Congrats to Michele who will receive a much-coveted and rare copy of My Whimsical Quilt Garden which is out of print. It is still available as an eBook but this is a ‘real’ pattern.

I’ll be back with another Giveaway next Wednesday. Until then you can shop for all sorts of sewing notions, books, and other fun stuff at pieceocake.com!

  2. It was your garden designs that got me into appliqué quilting! I did your block of the month thru Thimble Creek store 12 years ago.

  3. What a treasure! E-books just aren’t the same for me for quilting, both from a learning/understanding standpoint (I need to run my finger over the page, I think) and from a comfort/retreat POV. Receiving an actual book, especially one as rare as this, is a treat, especially these days.

  4. Love you patterns and still have a couple that I have bought in the past and not used. So glad I watched the video of the redesigned applique tool. It is something to add to my Wish List!

  5. When this book came out I was teaching full time. And I was very busy with my family. Now my life has slowed a bit so I would have the time to work on the quilt. I’ve always loved it.

  8. You gave a wonderful lecture at Beach Cities Quilt Guild and I took tons of notes. But your blog is the best. I am new to applique but I am so insured by your work. This would be the frosting on the cake. Thanks for all you share!!

  10. I love the best appliqué book I have that the whimsical garden would be great at home. And Jim he’s probably very tired from his exploration . Loved the tea idea I don’t drink a lot of tea but it sounds delicious love your website and your blogs
