Wednesday Giveaway Winner! – Congrats, Melanie Rinks!

Last week’s newsletter included a video on needles, how to identify them and why a particular one might be the best choice for a given project. Our Giveaway – Side Threading Needle – continues that theme. This needle is perfect for burying the tails of thread that happen during machine quilting. And, if you have failing eyesight but still want to sew, these needles will make you happy.

The package comes with 12 needles in assorted sizes. The needles are sturdy and a little thicker than normal.

I’ll be back with another Giveaway next Wednesday. Until then you can shop for all sorts of sewing notions, books, and other fun stuff at pieceocake.com!

  1. I’d like to try these needles sometime. I’ve always used the other kind that are V-shaped at the back… and I managed to bury that V in the end of my finger once, Ouch! Yes I know, thimbles, but I wore mine out 🤣

  2. These needles are ingenious! Even with the best of needle threaders, I dread when I have to swap in a new piece of thread. This needle would help sidestep the whole needle threader tussle. Thanks for hosting these giveaways!

  3. I love you giveaways – I hope to win one someday. I quilt a lot on my embroidery machine and these needles are great for burying thread ends. I would love to receive these.

  4. Those needles look like they’d be easy to thread, and I like that they thread from the side. Being a senior citizen, my eyesight is definitely not what it used to be. Thanks for the opportunity to win!
