Wednesday Giveaway!

Cathy Cavagnaro has won our special giveaway this week – The Lap App Storage Box (a wooden box sized to fit on the lap app.) The box comes with putty mounting squares to attach it to the lower level of your lap app and will hold the usual sewing tools. To be clear: the giveaway is for the box only—not the lap app.

I’ll be back with another Giveaway next Wednesday. Until then you can shop for all sorts of sewing notions, books, and other fun stuff at pieceocake.com!

  1. I absolutely love my Lap App! It has made hand appliqué much less stressful on my joints. To have an organizer box that attaches would be like the cherry on top.

  2. that looks like a perfect place to store the little things that my three cats like to make disappear into the house and then I spend more time looking for thread especially than I get to sew. Love all three of them, but they can be adorable little pests!

  3. I gave myself a lap app for Christmas last year just to make sure I got what I wanted. Love using it for my EPP. The box would be amazing!

  4. I owned my lap app for over a year and never used it until I watched your video about it. 😂 This tool box is a very clever thing. I would love to have one!

  5. Ok, your candies looked so good from the post on your blog. I need that apple cider peanut brittle recipe please. That sounds delicious. The box is a wonderful idea for sure.

  6. I had 2nd thoughts before ordering my Lap Ap but now that I have it I use it exclusively for English Paper Piecing. I made a cover out of thin thin batting and all my pieces stick to the batting as I’m working on it. The storage box would be a great addition. Now why didn’t I think of that?

  8. I love my lap app! I mainly use it when doing silk ribbon embroidery, but it is also great when I’m sewing quilt binding! I’m able to sit in my recliner and it raises the work up to me! Merry Christmas!
