Wednesday Giveaway – Backyard Birds goes to Shellie!

Robins, cardinals, orioles, nuthatches, and other favorite feathered friends from the back yard are all part of this week’s giveaway – the Backyard Birds book.

Included in the pattern pack are 12 easy appliqué blocks to mix and match, or sew them all to make a 52” x 65” quilt with appliqué borders. These 12″ x 12″ finished size blocks are bursting with fresh colors and are easy enough to be fun for quilters of all levels.

You can see more details about the blocks and suggested notions by clicking here and then clicking on the Backyard Books on the books page in our store. (When we received the latest order of books from the publisher, I noticed that this one’s cover was not pristine, hence, the giveaway.)

I’ll be back with another Giveaway next Wednesday. Until then you can shop for all sorts of sewing notions, books, and other fun stuff at pieceocake.com!

  4. My home is situtated next to a bird sanctuary and we have a wonderful time watching the birds in our backyard. It is my husband’s hobby as he loves to feed “his babies”. This would make the perfect quilt for him to enjoy when he can’t be outside with his birds.
