We received a sample of Moda’s new Mini Charm Project – the French Pocket – and are passing it along to this week’s lucky winner – JaNelle Erickson! The project includes the pattern, instructions, 42 1″ hexagon papers and a pack of 42 2.5″ squares to create a standalone “pocket” (small holdall or cross body bag).

I’ll be back with another Giveaway next Wednesday. Until then you can shop for all sorts of sewing notions, books, and other fun stuff at pieceocake.com!

English paper piecing is one of my favorite techniques. I would love to win this beautiful pocket!

I would love to win this pattern. My granddaughter is involved in a re-enactment trek for honoring our Mormon pioneer ancestors who trekked from Illinois to Utah in 1847. They must dress authentically and we did some research about how the ladies carried their essentials and found information about these pockets. I’ve been looking for a pattern.
