Wednesday Giveaway!

Bohin’s Self-Threading Needles go to our winner, Joye Cox! If you have trouble threading needles, these needles might solve your problem. The Bohin Self Threading needle has an opening on top to pop the thread through. Little interlocking ‘teeth’ hold the thread in the eye of the needle.

They are perfect for many sewing situations—I use them for burying tails of thread when I machine quilt. The pack has 2 each of sizes 2, 3, and 4. You can view a video giving more information about these special needles by clicking here.

I’ll be back with another Giveaway next Wednesday. Until then you can shop for all sorts of sewing notions, books, and other fun stuff at pieceocake.com!

  1. I haven’t tried the self threading type but I just LOVE my other Bohin needles. I never realized what a difference there was in needles before I started using these. No more cheap “assorted “needles for me!

  2. “Oh what a relief it is” states an old ad jingle and these would be such a relief for old eyes. I would love to try these.

  3. Have just read your email Welcome to the North Pole. I bought the book nearly 20 years ago and never did anything with it and you have now inspired me to make a hanging/quilt/table runner. Love the idea of these needles, especially as I am getting older and am sure the eyes of needles are getting smaller.

  5. So funny to see this giveaway today! I just told my husband last night that the time has come for me to buy some needle threaders because it’s getting harder to thread my needles!

  6. I would love to try these needles. I am having a hard time threading my needles. I have needle threaders, but I sometimes have a hard time seeing the eye to insert the threader. I do a lot of handwork so it would be a blessing to be able to just slide the thread in.
