My friend, Laurie, has a volunteer vine growing out of her compost pile. Is she growing squash or gourds? Either is good, but we're not sure whether to try cooking these or not.
I've got yellow squash but it's the wartiest squash I've ever seen!
Gourd. Don’t eat it! ; )
Thanks for blogging about my poster putty, Becky!
Good luck with the upcoming wedding!!! Get a manicure, but NOT acrylic nails.
Your summer/crookneck squash looks like one of mine, while the others are all smooth and soft yellow. They all came from the same bag of seeds, though. I plan to cook them together tomorrow. Yummy! : } pokey
