Have you found TED? Here is what their website says: TED is a small nonprofit devoted to Ideas Worth Spreading. It started
out (in 1984) as a conference bringing together people from three
worlds: Technology, Entertainment, Design. Since
then its scope has become ever broader. Along with the annual TED
Conference in Long Beach, California, and the TEDGlobal conference in
Oxford UK, TED includes the award-winning TEDTalks video site, the Open
Translation Program, the new TEDx community program, this year's
TEDIndia Conference and the annual TED Prize.
What I can tell you is that I've had mind-expanding insights while listening to TED talks. The one below is by Alain de Botton whose book, The Art of Travel, is one of my very favorite reads. In this talk he made me re-examine what I think about success.

Thanks, Becky, for making me aware of TED and of this presentation by Alain de Botton. His ideas are enlightening and make me look inward for newer ways of seeing the world.

I thoroughly enjoyed the stimulation of this speaker. I look forward to listening again and again. I know I’ll get new thoughts each time. Now I’m on the search for his book, The Art of Travel. Thanks for opening my eyes to TED.
