The setting blocks are all 1/2″-hexes sewn together and then appliqued to a block:

What’s not to love —- the pink…. tad toooo much pink, but thankfully that is easy to change when doing one’s own. I love hexies and really would like to get started with applique….. birds are always good on quilts… so it seems…. what is not to love?
