Wednesday Giveaway

Thank you all for your lovely comments! Congrats to Becky Good, this week’s winner :-).

Before I get to the Wednesday Giveaway, I must mention that I am teaching a Color Class at Happiness Is… Quilting in McKinney, TX, on Saturday April 22. There are a few spots left and I know that at least some of you live in the Dallas area. This is a great no-sew class. Everyone learns a lot and leaves happy and more confident about color. Call the shop at 972-542-8839 for more info.

I have a print-on-demand copy of Appliqué Outside the Lines that I am happy to give to this week’s winner. This is one of my favorite books! It was published in 2009 and and is out of print, but it is still available as an ebook (click here).

Here are a few quilts from this book:

Leave a comment to enter the drawing. Scroll down and look for the box. Or, you might see a little icon that looks like a thought bubble at the upper right at the top of this post. That will open the comment section. Scroll to the bottom to find the box in which to leave your comment/reply.

I’ll use a random number generator to choose a winner Thursday morning, April 13, 2017. Good luck!

  1. You’re choosing the winner on my birthday–perhaps that will bring me a bit of luck. I’d love to win a copy of this book. Thanks for the chance.

  2. Good morning! Your way of appliqué is probably the perfect answer for me–I imagine the attitude method is better for me at this stage of life than trying to reach invisibility. Thank you for the opportunity to own your book.

  6. I love appliqué. I like to do hand work and I love how it looks. It really adds something to any quilt. The book looks like something I would use to make more appliqué.

  7. Always love seeing what you are doing. Also just received your circle maker template and took it to quilt guild yesterday with samples that I had done. Do not be surprised if you get some contacts from this as lots were interested. Keep up the good work.
