Wednesday Giveaway

Cathy Cavagnaro is the winner of this week’s Wednesday Giveaway, the Stars in the Garden pattern. Congrats to Cathy!

If you are not Cathy and you still want to make your own Stars in the Garden quilt, click here to find the ePattern.

Both the book and this pattern are out of print now but you can get the ePattern here if you don’t win this week.

Scroll down and look for the box to leave a comment. If you can’t find the comment box, you might see a little icon that looks like a thought bubble at the upper right at the top of this post. Try clicking that to open the comment section.

I’ll use a random number generator to choose a winner Thursday morning, May 4, 2017. Good luck!

  1. This pattern is beautiful — I have enjoyed you tips on needle turn which I feel I am getting better at

  2. Thanks for the blog on color. I don’t have too much problem with color, but sometimes I need an empty place to rest my eye?

  3. I missed the opportunity years ago when my LQS offered this as a BOM. I would love to make one now. It is still one of the most beautiful quilts that I have ever seen.

  4. Becky –

A member of my quilt club made this quilt when the book was first published, and she let all of us help hand quilt it. Smashing design! A joy to stitch each week (we have been hand quilting for each other for 35 years).

  5. I have just recently started applauding. My first project is the Whimsical Garden which I’m also using as a teaching tool for color for my granddaughters.

  6. I would love to win this pattern. You are going to be our guest speaker at this month’s guild meeting in Dover NH. I can’t wait to meet you. And I am taking your Tile Tango class. So excited!!!

  7. Oh my, what a coincidence. I was planning this for my next applique quilt. It would be so wonderful to get all the supplies for it. And really like the one you posted. Hope I win.

  8. Stars in the Garden is a beautiful quilt! I’m working on Vase of Flowers right now for my mother-in-law for Mother’s Day and would love to work on one of the ‘stars’ next.
