Wednesday Giveaway

Congrats to this week’s winner, Shirley Morgan! If you didn’t win, you really should treat yourself to a sandboard. I use a sandboard every time I sit down to my hand sewing. The sandpaper keeps fabric from shifting as you trace or pin and the board itself is handy to set your stuff on, on your lap, as you sew.

TravelSandboard-Cover-500

There are 2 sizes of sandboard. I use the smaller Travel Sandboard when I am away from home.  I use the larger, Essential Sandboard at home. Click here to find them both.

Leave a comment to enter the drawing. If you can’t find the comment box, you might see a little icon that looks like a thought bubble at the upper right at the top of this post. Try clicking that to open the comment section.

I’ll use a random number generator to choose a winner Thursday, May 18, 2017. It might be later in the day as I will be out of town teaching.

Good luck!

  1. Don’t know what I would do without my sandpaper board and would live to have a smaller one to put in my quilting go bag.

  3. I’d love to have a sandpaper board! I’ve been making do with pieces of sandpaper, which have been a good start, but not as stable. 🙂

  4. I use a home-made sand paper board the Hubs made for me. It’s not very sturdy for anything else, but works pretty good for tracing appliqué templates. I’d love to win yours tho!!!

  7. I have your large sand board and absolutely love it. I’ve tried another brand but it did not hold fabric as well as yours, plus the other was much rougher making it difficult to mark my hand appliqué pieces. It would be great to win the smaller one as it’s just the right size to take to classes or on my upcoming vacation.

  22. I took your class “Backyard Birds” yesterday, and it was beyond fabulous! Having a sandboard will be so helpful with the applique process. As I am new to applique, what better way to learn from the very best teacher/instructor/artist!
    Thanks Becky!
