I also wash all my fabric before using it but I only use cold water.
Will the Retro Wash and the Retayne be effective in cold water?

Hi Jeanne:
I switched to warm water wash on my fabric since that’s what Retayne recommends, and have not noticed that it hurt the fabric in any way. If I use Synthrapol, I use hot water for the same reason and also have not had a problem with the fabric.
You can try it in cold water, but I don’t know if that will affect the outcome.

Love the socks! Especially like the “Hellraiser” lady on the bicycle because I am a biker. Right now I itching to get out and ride my bicycle. The weather has been too rainy and cold.
