Jeannette Kling emailed this photo of her Hexie Garden quilt hanging in the Naples Quilt Show where it earned an Honorable Mention. She says she was so happy while making this quilt and it was great fun finding the fabric, especially for the fussy cutting around the small hexie flowers.

The hand applique was done by Jeannette Kling and Judy Ettema of Torch Lake Quilting did the machine quilting. I say well done all round! Thank you, Jennette, for sharing your wonderful quilt with us!
If you are interested in the Hexie Garden Quilt pattern, you can find it here [https://www.pieceocake.com/shop/Books–Patterns/Books–DVD/p/Hexie-Garden-Quilt-x31059659.htm].
I am in awe of such wonderful talent! Just an outstanding quilt and you can be so proud, Jeannette.

I love your quilts. I recently purchased two copies of “Once upon a season”. Both copies are missing the center section with the patterns. Is there anywhere I can find the designs that are in the center insert? Thank you so much, Judy Davis

Hi Judy:
I’m guessing that you bought the books used and that the previous owner kept the pattern inserts. That is a real problem with used quilt books. I’m sorry to say that I don’t have the pattern pages and that these books are out of print.
Once Upon A Season is available as on ebook here: https://www.pieceocake.com/shop/Books–Patterns/eBooks/p/Once-Upon-A-Season-eBook-x31059776.htm All of the pages, including the pattern pages, can be printed on 8 1/2” x 11” pages. You tape the pages together to make the larger patterns. It’s not as easy as having the full, big pages, but it’s the only way I know of to get the patterns now. You can choose to only print the pages you need.
I hope this helps,
Becky

These little zip bags are cute as well as very handy. I have several in use now, but I can always use a little first aid! Jeannette Kling and Judy Ettemas’ quilt is beautiful. Love the pattern, too – what a talent you are. Thanks for the Wednesday give aways.
