Wednesday Giveaway…

Congrats to Terry Sharp, this week’s winner! She will receive a package of Karen K. Buckley’s Perfect Stems. The package has 8 different sizes of heat resistant strips that allow you to make bias stems from 1/8″- to 1/2″-wide. Each size is a different color. The bars are smooth to make moving the bar inside the stem easier. Karen’s instructions are included in the package.

If you are not the winner and you’d like a set of Perfect Stems you can find it and all sorts of sewing notions, books, and other fun stuff at pieceocake.com!

Shipping is free on orders over $75 every day.

  1. I would love to win these. I’ve been watching your utube video’s on how to needle turn applique to learn. I haven’t done anything yet but these would help when I start!

  2. Have been out of the loop for several years due to family responsibilities. Wow these would make stems a breeze. Have an applique project in the design process and stems are always difficult to keep consistent.

  3. I’ve made a pincushion in a small tin, which I keep in a slightly larger tin with a pair of TSA safe scissors and a threader for heavy threads. There’s also room in the larger tin for pre-cut Valdani threads for my wool embroidery. I’d love to try the stems!

  6. I took a class one time on just stems. Most were done with thread and special stitches. But if I had these to make stems and lay my thread over the top. Ummm fun! Thanks Becky for all you share with us. V
