Wednesday Giveaway

Kathi H. is this week’s winner. She will receive a pack of Black Gold #12 Applique Needles and the Needle Beetle threader. The needle is a sharp needle (which is shorter than a milliners needle). The point of this rigid needle is SHARP and glides with amazing smoothness through the fabric. This is one of my two favorite applique needles.

I’ll be back with another Giveaway next Wednesday. Until then you can shop for all sorts of sewing notions, books, and other fun stuff at pieceocake.com!

  1. I would also love to try these needles. I normally don’t like bugs, but this one looks like I could love it. Thanks for the chance!

  3. I learned to applique on the “lap” of Piece O Cake! It is my favorite technique and I feel distracted if I don’t have an applique project at hand.

  4. These are appliqué needles I have not tried. The needle threaded is so cute and large enough that it won’t get lost. Thanks for the offer. That Jim couldn’t be any cuter if he tried.

  7. I forgot to say that I love sequins too. I still have the Christmas stocking my aunt made me in early 1960s. They were felt, with cutouts from coloring books, with lots of sequins. She made 5 for us, and after we had 2 more siblings, I made them each one in the same sequiny style. Thanks for bringing back sequin fun.
