Wednesday Giveaway

Lo Ann is this week’s winner and she will receive an Applique Stiletto from Pearl Pereira. It has a wonderful, turned wood handle that is easy to hold in a variety of ways. The shape of the handle is comfortable and the wood feels good against your skin. The metal point is sharp and holds the fabric well.

Use this stiletto to move applique into position on a block, but it can be used in a variety of other sewing tasks where you want a pointy tool. If you are not Lo Ann, click to order your own Applique Stiletto.

I’ll be back with another Giveaway next Wednesday. Until then you can shop for all sorts of sewing notions, books, and other fun stuff at pieceocake.com!

  1. I had one of those stilettos until my son-in-law used it as a pry tool and bent it. Couldn’t afford another one. Thank you so much for the giveaway opportunity.

  2. I have always wanted one of these. I’m sure it’s better than the dinner knife I currently use. The turnings are so pretty, do any of the special turns/designs help us to do anything else? Or just interesting parts to hold onto and keep our fingers busy so we stay away from the needle? 😀

  4. This is a great tool for starch freezer paper turning of applique shapes. I also use it as a safe finger to feed fabric close to the sewing machine needle.

  6. I could have used it a couple of days ago, piecing some Ocean Waves blocks for my guild’s opportunity quilt. That last bit of each seam wants to wander as it nears the needle. Thanks for the giveaway!
