Wednesday Giveaway

Lo Ann is this week’s winner and she will receive an Applique Stiletto from Pearl Pereira. It has a wonderful, turned wood handle that is easy to hold in a variety of ways. The shape of the handle is comfortable and the wood feels good against your skin. The metal point is sharp and holds the fabric well.

Use this stiletto to move applique into position on a block, but it can be used in a variety of other sewing tasks where you want a pointy tool. If you are not Lo Ann, click to order your own Applique Stiletto.

I’ll be back with another Giveaway next Wednesday. Until then you can shop for all sorts of sewing notions, books, and other fun stuff at pieceocake.com!

  2. This looks like a good size for holding. I had a gold metal one years ago the it was so thin I kept dropping it and finally just stopped trying. thanks for all you do Becky.

  4. I have one of these. It is also helpful in guiding & holding down tricky smallpieces when machine sewing. And also using to hold down pieces when pressing.
I first got it for hand applique but it us very helpful for other quilting steps. Linda

  5. Love doing handwork…but drowning in quilting projects (finishing) right now. Maybe this tool would be an inspiration to do some evening handwork. 🙂
