Brenda Godin sent me a photo of her Aunt Millie’s Garden—isn’t it lovely! I really like the way she handled the sashing, which is different from the pattern. Those little squares are perfectly colored and spaced, and they set off the blocks so well! Here’s what Brenda said in her email:
My passion is applique. I have made your Aunt Millie’s Garden. I did it with the red background and it hangs in my livingroom. It was accepted to the CQA show in 2014- that it the big show for us Canadians! You can see I love working with batiks!
