Wednesday Giveaway

This week’s winner is Jacqueline Bower. She will receive a pair of Elan’s 5″ Embroidery Scissor. I don’t use these for anything like embroidery. I use these smooth-bladed scissors to cut paper and templates. You can also use them for fabric… and for embroidery :-).

I’ll be back next Wednesday with another Giveaway. In between now and then I hope to post some photos from Hawaii! Happy stitching, Becky

  1. Thanks for the scissor review. I do love my Kai serrated scissors but I could use something for paper and templates. The large handles look comfortable for my arthritic fingers. Also thanks for the tip about the Yazzi bag. My bag is going to get a remodel.

  2. How funny! I bought a pair of these at a workshop with you to use – yep, for cutting paper. I love them, and could always use another pair, since mine live in my take-along project bag and I am forever digging them out to use at home. Thank you for this opportunity to win a pair.

  3. I have a variety of scissors and would love to add this pair to my collection. Love the idea about the charm on them to know which side to keep on top of the fabric when using scissors with a serrated blade. Heading over to the shop to get a few charms. Thank you!

  4. I would love to try these. I’ve been working with Piece of Cake Designs since I started with an applique class at my local shop 10 years ago now. The quilt was Stars in the Garden, which is now owned by my Aunt Barbie. It took me over a year to complete and she loved it so much I gifted it to her.
