Wednesday Giveaway

Cassy L. is this week’s winner! She will receive a Sewline Pencil that comes with white refills. This pencil uses a soft 9mm water soluble chalk to make a line you can see that isn’t too thick. The chalk is firm enough not to break as you draw on fabric, unless you push too hard. You know how that goes. I use this pencil when I am drawing very small or fine shapes.

I’ll be back with another Giveaway next Wednesday. Until then you can shop for all sorts of sewing notions, books, and other fun stuff at pieceocake.com!

  1. I’ve been intrigued by this pencil for a while now. Thanks for offering the possibility of winning. Laughed out loud at Jim. He supports my hypothesis that ANY enclosure seeks to be occupied by a cat!

  2. I love these pencils! I do a lot of markings on quilts. I’ve told a lot of Quilters about these pencils-because they are the best markers!

  3. These pencils are my favorite for marking appliqué shapes. I use them for piecing as well. The lines are easy to remove, yet they last long enough for machine quilting as well. I’d love to have a spare pencil to keep in my appliqué bag!

  4. I’m in the middle of appliqueing your lovely Thistle pattern from years ago. This pencil would work like a charm on all those dark purple fabrics!

  5. I love this pencil. The green chalk is absolutely perfect for medium and dark fabrics. It is visible when you need to see it but then erases so easily! Thank you for the give away!

  6. I have tried many types of marking pencils, and haven’t been completely happy with any of them. Some are too permanent, some aren’t permanent enough! I’d like to try this one to see it it works for me.
