Wednesday Giveaway…

Shirley Chutwoid is this week’s winner and she will receive a Color Theory for Quilters DVD. This DVD is very much like the color lecture that I have presented to guilds for many years. The information on the DVD fits hand-in-hand with my book, The Quilter’s Practical Guide to Color. If you aren’t Shirley and would like to order this DVD, click here.

I’ll be back with another Giveaway next Wednesday. Until then you can shop for all sorts of sewing notions, books, and other fun stuff at pieceocake.com!

  1. Hi Becky. Thad for helping me learn color theory.

I have a comment to add about the great Yazzii bags. Please warn owners to make sure they don’t leave their Materials in their bags in warm places like a car trunk or near a heating vent. Heat can cause a Paper ((Xeroxed)) copy to stick to a vinyl window and it won’t be possible to remove the print. Suggestion is to make sure papers are laminated or in a sleeve or simply folded so the print is inside. Hope this helps an accident be prevented before it can happen.

  2. Albers said, one color could look like two. Just wrestling color in a quilt is hard work. Any advice is always helpful. Thank you Becky for your great advice. V

  3. This would be a great thing to have. I could use this lesson. What quilter doesn’t need a color course refresher? Thanks for this.

  4. I NEED this … it’s “fear of disappointment” that keeps me from using fabrics I’ve already bought. I try to find kits (I can afford) so that I have that Pleasing to the Eye combo/placement …
Thank you for sharing your knowledge with us … I hope I am selected to receive this DVD.
