It’s time for another blog prize…

We had our first blog “door” prize in November and it’s high time for another one! This is a block from the sampler quilt in our book, The New Applique Sampler.

Becky appliqued this block (by hand, herself) for a class and it never made it into a quilt. The background is 12 1/2″ x 19 1/2″ and it has not been trimmed.

To enter to win this lovely door prize, leave a comment on this post. Be sure to leave your name!

On Friday (or Saturday, depending on how the week goes) we’ll announce a RANDOM winner of our prize! If you post anonymously we may not be able to email you to let you know you won, so be sure to check back.

And don’t forget that the deadline (March 1) for the Free Block Contest is fast approaching. We’ve already received some photos of completed projects and we’re loving them!

  1. Oh Boy, would I love to win it. Been a huge fan of y’all since I first saw y’all years ago with the Christmas quilt which had a block of Santa sleeping in his bed with a patchwork quilt on Simply Quilts.

  2. I absolutely love applique, but just don’t have the personal talent (or patience). I’d love to win it and use it as the center for a pieced quilt. Thanks for sharing your talent with us.Patricia

  3. How cute your colors are! Hope I can win this beauty to see it in person. I just love your patterns. I bought Aunt Millie’s Garden and it’s waiting on me to find the fabrics.Mandy

  4. Everyone is right, it is a beautiful block and deserves to come home with me. I have hand appliqued, once. It was fun but very hard on arthritic hands. It would be much easier to win a block, don’t you think?

  6. That block is just soooo cute! I am applique challenged so to get one already done would be wonderful, all I’d have to do is put on a border and voile, I’d have a great wallhanging…I hope I win.Peggy in NJ
