It’s time for another blog prize…

We had our first blog “door” prize in November and it’s high time for another one! This is a block from the sampler quilt in our book, The New Applique Sampler.

Becky appliqued this block (by hand, herself) for a class and it never made it into a quilt. The background is 12 1/2″ x 19 1/2″ and it has not been trimmed.

To enter to win this lovely door prize, leave a comment on this post. Be sure to leave your name!

On Friday (or Saturday, depending on how the week goes) we’ll announce a RANDOM winner of our prize! If you post anonymously we may not be able to email you to let you know you won, so be sure to check back.

And don’t forget that the deadline (March 1) for the Free Block Contest is fast approaching. We’ve already received some photos of completed projects and we’re loving them!

Will you really read all these, or just number generate, and pick the winner. Hope it goes as high as 258. Thanks for all the inspiration.

  2. This is a very colorful, cheerful, block, that I would love to win, and use for a Habitat for Humanity quilt, that my Nimble Fingers quilt guild is sponsoring. We have made lots of Habitat quilts for the new homes set to open in the spring. Anne Trudel

  3. Your trademark bright colors and simple lines. But I espec like the background fabrics. With winter still upon us, it looks like snow is falling and the winter winds blowing but these brave blooms won’t be done in.

  8. That is my all time favorite applique project. My daughter and I bought the book, the DVD and the fabrics. Then we went about learning to applique your way! We haven’t gotten too far yet but we’re sold on your method AND the quilt. We plan to do the whole sampler and wouldn’t I be the Queen Bee to be able to show off that block with it?? YES!!
