I have this pattern, it was one of the first I fell in love with after the beginners class. I knew it was over my head but I collected fabric and neutral shirtings for it. Now that I am retiring this might become a reality…if I can find the “kit”. Carolyn did a wonderful job.

Beautiful job. I, too, have the pattern – but Welcome to the North Pole is the one I really want to do. I bought the book right after you and Linda were on Simply Quilts. At that point I had no idea what needleturn applique was. I learned and did a LOT of practicing and now I am confident that I could do all those little window sashings! It’s something I hope to start soon. Heaven knows I’ve been collecting blue background fabrics for year and I’m sure I have enough for at least four quilts. The darned job keeps getting in the way. And then there’s the wedding quilts and graduation quilts! Love it all !!!!
