Wednesday Giveaway

Angela Short is this week’s lucky winner and she will receive a package of Long Fine Pins from Little House. They really are long, and very fine but not so bendy that they are hard to use. I use them for some machine piecing and occasionally for applique—especially with wool applique where a long pin is useful.

  1. Fine pins are the only ones I use but they are always so short. I’m glad to see there are long ones. Thanks for holding this raffle.

  2. I like long pins but hate when they bend. I do alot of appliqué, and I have just started wool appliqué.
I have been piecing and sew like crazy making masks for my cancer center and the military. So I could use a product that would help.
    Thanks for the tip.

  3. These pins sound like winners. Long fine pins that don’t bend would be a pleasure to use. Thanks for the chance to win them.

  4. I hadn’t seen these pins. I can see lots of uses and wish I had known about them. As a quilter for over 50 years it would be great to have the chance to try them. thanks for a chance to win some.

  5. I have been doing Picots in Embroidery. I could use those nice fine needles to be the spokes. Then maybe I won’t have the little loop of thread at the end of my Picots. Thank you Becky for all you do for us quilters/ sewers.

  6. These look interesting. I recently bought some pins that I thought would be great, but they are too short for machine piecing. Thank you!

  7. Thanks for a chance to win pins. I do need pins, but am shy to purchase them. In the past I had purchased some nice thin pins and they are too bendy!! I do not want bendy pins, so I am unsure of what qualities in a pin is on the label to purchase or what pins I should avoid. I do like glass head thin pins.

  8. Sweet of you Becky to continue sending these gifts. We all need some cheer right now. Every stitcher has a need for pins. I do wool work so would love these. Stay safe. Thank you.

  9. These pins look great for piecing. I’m a pinned. The extra fine pins by Clover are my current favorite but they do bend easily. I’d love to give these a try. Thanks for the offer.
