  5. This is a great tool! So sorry that rascally Jim bit you, Becky, and remember my Vet telling me he would rather be bitten by a dog any day than a cat. And oh dear.. if you can’t brush a cat the house becomes cat hair city! I used a hand vac on one of my cats and once he got used to the noise he actually enjoyed it. Glad to hear you are on the mend!

  6. So glad to hear that your hand is better. Cat bites are the worst. Would love the threader, Can’t seem to thread a needle now without help.

  7. I love hand piecing and embroidery. However, my eyes are now to the point that I can’t thread a needle. My neighbor comes over and threads several when I am sewing. Having a needle threader like that would be wonderful. My neighbor would appreciate it also.

  8. What a lovely give away this week! You demonstrated this needle threader in a class I took with you, and I always intended to get one. It would be especially helpful with the tiny needles I use when doing applique.
So glad you’ve recovered from the cat bite! I used to follow a blog of a woman, years ago, who was bitten, very lightly on her sewing hand, by her older cat when they were moving after many years in the same home. The cat had never done that before, but seemed to be stressed about the move. She brushed it off until several days later when she woke up with a hand, red, painful, and swollen to twice its size. She went to her doctor and was rushed into emergency surgery. They were able to clean out and repair the infection, and thankfully, she eventually regained use of her sewing hand. Of course it was her sewing hand! Her doctor told her that she was very lucky, and that cat bites can be dangerous. You were very lucky, too; we’re soooo happy!!!

  9. I am sadly at the point in hand applique where a needle threader is a requirement for smoker needles. I love this needle threader that a friend let me try. Thank you for offering. And as for cat injuries, it isn’t just the bites. Scratches can be dangerous too. My niece landed in the hospital from a scratch to her upper arm. The redness progressed up her arm and took so long to respond to meds that Drs drew a lines to Mark progression of the infection. Thankfully the threatened amputation was not needed at the end. But the threat was real and very scary.

  10. This needle threader would help eliminate the four-letter comments when I’m unsuccessful at threading those tiny needle eyes! Many thanks 😊
