Wednesday Giveaway Winner – Pam Wilkerson!

Applique Stitchery by Jean Ray Laurie is one of my all-time favorite books. It was published in 1966 and it is a delightful reflection of the time then—and it is still relevant today. The book is out of print, but Judy Fine had a spare copy and she gave it to me to share with one of you! The random number generator has chosen Pam Wilkerson to receive this book for her collection!

I showed this book in the Time Out below…

I’ll be back with another Giveaway next Wednesday. Until then you can shop for all sorts of sewing notions, books, and other fun stuff at pieceocake.com!

  1. I would love to add this book to my library. I now do mostly appliqué and love it. Something about handwork is so satisfying.

  2. What a wonderful opportunity! I was fortunate to be able to take a class with Jean Ray Laury back in the ’80s. I hope to receive this book and expand my knowledge of embroidery.

  3. I would love this! Thanks so much for the chance to enter. I’ve been listening to Mary Fons talk about Jean Ray during the QuiltFolk BOM zooms and would like to pore over some JRL quilts.

  5. I love older books on quilting — it would be a fine addition to my collection. And, the bonus is that it is still relevant.

  6. Jean spoke at a guild meeting I attended many years ago. She helped to spark my interest in the A word. Found PieceoCake not long after that and have been going forward ever since.
