Wednesday Giveaway – Bird’s Eye Eco-Pouch Set Goes to Sharon Robinson!

For our last Giveaway of 2023, Sharon will get the two-pouch set featuring two of my quilts, the larger one from Bullseye Quilts and the smaller one from Backyard Birds. These are made of recycled plastic and are tough enough to handle sharp quilting, sewing and art tools.

They are one of the several organizers we carry in our store. Click here to view these, along with Yazzii organizers in various sizes and colors and the beautiful handcrafted sewing boxes made by our friend, Jacquie, especially for Piece O’ Cake.

I’ll be back with another Giveaway next Wednesday. Until then you can shop for all sorts of sewing notions, books, and other fun stuff at pieceocake.com!

Wednesday Giveaway – Patricia is Feeling Scrappy!

Scrappy Squares – a postcard project from Jen Kingwell Designs – is this week’s giveaway – going to Patricia! One of several postcard projects we carry, you use the template to cut your squares and can handsew them together to any size you desire. A great take-along project for the holidays. Videos on our website (click here to access) demonstrate how to use the template and the hand-piecing stitch.

Wednesday Giveaway – Pretty in Pink

This week we are passing on a tool from one of our vendors to our lucky winner, Caroline Doyle! The pink Dritz Seam Fix tool has a sharp seam ripper on one end and the ridged rubber head on the other end to grab and brush away the snipped threads and to help close up needle holes.

(The version we carry in our store has a seam ripper and a stiletto/awl with both ridged and smooth ends. And it’s currently on sale! Click here to shop.)

Wednesday Giveaway – the Finishing Touch!

Adding a label to your project makes it an even better gift! We carry several of the KATM labels (click here to see what’s in stock). Although I’m personally drawn to the “Nana made it” label, I’m giving this week’s winner, Pam Dempsey, the more general “Handmade” one. Enjoy, Pam!
