I found it, and I wasn’t looking!
Catherine, my Aussie friend, and I were shopping today and I was happily taking pictures of sparkly Christmas trees. This one has reproduction ornaments on it and I knew that, but didn’t look close. I should have!
Last year I broke one of my favorite, vintage ornaments from my youth. It is on this tree!
It’s not exactly the same, but it’s pretty darned close. I will be going back for it and while I’m there I will look more closely. Who knows what other treasures are on this tree!

This product is really fantastic for fusing. It diffuses heat very well – I especially like using it with wool applique but it works with cotton too. The 17 3/4″ x 24″Big Goddess is Teflon coated fiberglass designed to be used with fusible web.
FYI: The instructions say not to fold the sheet, but I have sometimes folded mine and it has not seemed to hurt it.

Alison Glass designs lovely fabric that just happens to be perfect for The Magical Unicorn. I asked if she could put together a magical fabric bundle and I am very happy to announce that she has!
The rainbow starter bundle above will get you well on your way to having a great selection of fabrics for your Magical Unicorn quilt.
Depending on your specific color choices, you may need to add to this selection. You will also need to add larger cuts of some colors due to size and background needs. Alison has add-on options with the bundle and you can also visit the yardage section in her online shop for the white base/background fabric.
I want to add that I’ve been sewing with Alison’s fabric on two of the Bullseye quilts and it is a joy to work with. It will be a constant in my stash from now on. Happy stitching!
