Show and tell…

Mary Coombs sent me this photo of her covid quilt (Covid-19 and it’s Mutations) done with my Searching for Beauty pattern. Mary wrote:

While I didn’t like the disease taking a year from normal life, it was fun to choose fabric from my stash and use some up. Certainly been a year for that activity. Thanks for all you do!  Mary Coombs. Winslow, ME

Mary, thank you for sharing your quilt! It’s bright and cheerful and I like that especially now that we are coming back into normalcy. Maybe not the old normal, but close :-).

Happy stitching!

Wednesday Giveaway

Theresa Duval is this week’s winner and she will receive 4 spools of Wonderfil #8 Perle cotton in these lovely neutral colors. I use this thread for big stitch hand quilting and for some embroidery. It is a little softer than other #8 Perle cottons which makes it easier to pull through the layers when hand quilting. And it is thick enough to make bold stitches.

If you are not Theresa and you would like to shop this thread, click here or on the image below.

I’ll be back with another Giveaway next Wednesday. Until then you can shop for all sorts of sewing notions, books, and other fun stuff at pieceocake.com!
