I’ve spotted a magical unicorn quilt!

Debbie Stubbs shared these pictures of the magical unicorn quilt that she made for her granddaughter, Avery, for her 4th birthday. Avery is a very lucky little girl!

And look at that unicorn cake!

Thank you, Debbie, for sharing these pictures of your quilt. You made a wonderful quilt that Avery is sure to treasure.

Gail Wozniak emailed a photo of her almost finished Backyard Birds quilt top. Her top will be complete after a couple more circles and a little embroidery on my lady bug and butterfly.

Gail began this quilt in my class in May at Merrimack Valley Guild in Massachusetts. Congrats, Gail on a lovely quilt!

Here’s what Lois said:

This is a quilt that has been a work in progress for several years. It is FINALLY finished!  I completed the last of the hand quilting last month so I could use it as a table topper when I was hostess for my book club meeting in May. There were several comments (and pats on the back) which pleased me to no end, but most assuredly part of the credit goes to you for your beautiful design. Pictures attached show off this treasured piece of work!

Briar Rose is just one of the patterns in the Flowering Favorites ebook. Click here.

PS: Nothing against the members of my book club, but I’m not so sure that I would trust them not to spill on my quilt. Lois, you are a brave hostess :-).

Loa Kay changed the pattern, making more blocks and a bigger quilt and it turned out very well! If you would like to make your own May Baskets you can find the ePattern here, or the whole eBook here.
