I was given this Konfetti thread in a sampler mini spool set and I knew immediately that it should be a Wednesday Giveaway! Konfetti is a 50wt double gassed Egyptian cotton thread, perfect for quilting, longarming, hand and machine piecing, decorative stitching, embroidery, and general sewing. I find it a little heavy for hand applique but you might love it for that too.

I just finished this beautiful Steve’s Birds quilt and I wanted to send you a photo. I’m so happy and proud of myself. I never imagined I could complete such a project. It’s my very first applique, and I learned so much from your classes. I’d bought all the patterns but never actually finished a project before this one.
These birds are a gift for a friend I’ve known for fifty years. I’ve decided to make and give a quilt to everyone I’ve truly loved in my life. I still have a little time. Thanks you again for this pattern and for your classes, which are so clear, so comprehensive, and for your kindness. Joyeux Noel… Suzanne
