Wednesday Giveaway…

Sharon Rutledge is this week’s winner and she will receive some Thread Magic! It’s not beeswax, it may be silicone but I’m not for sure about that. It does help to prevents tangling and fraying in my hand appliqué thread.

If you are not Sharon, you might want to order some Thread Magic for your sewing kit :-).

My Favorite Fabric Pencils…

The pencils I use on fabric are not ‘fabric’ pencils at all. Crazy, right? I love the General’s White Charcoal Pencil on medium to dark fabrics and I use Blackwing’s 602 pencil with firm graphite on light fabrics.

Click here to find the pencils and 2-Step sharpener. And don’t miss Blackwing’s excellent sharpeners and pencil caps. They make me happy :-).

Wednesday Giveaway

Elma May is this week’s winner and she will receive a Sewing Needle Guide. Congrats, Elma May!

You might not think you need one, but you do—especially now when we are all doing so much online shopping. This guide lists the most common hand-sewing needles and what they are used for. It is very handy!
