Just returned from my latest quilting retreat last weekend and wanted to send you this pic. Took me forever to finish Fresh Picked Posies, as you can tell from the starting date, but I loved every second of it. Thank you for your wonderful work and inspiration! I’ve also got several of the Thru Grandmother’s Window blocks done. They’re very pretty. Up on my design wall and speaking to me. Hmmmm…. Best,Julie

Gardens + Imagination = Excellent Game for Kids!

This cheerful Gathering a Garden game is a breath of fresh air! Take a trip to each vendor to gather some flowers, vegetables, and more for your bounty of garden delights. Lorna tells me that the game is so inviting that when Chris (my son, her husband, father to the kids) got home and it was still on the table, he played with the kids… during dinner! which he never does.

I have kept my spools of thread in Sterlite drawer units for years, but no more. I finally realized that the Yazzii Ultimate Thread Organizer is for more than just carrying your thread from place to place. They are the perfect way to store your thread!

Easter basket presents for kids…

Lorna and Judy spend time searching for toys mostly for Bear. They focus on nice toys that make him use his imagination and his brain and that don’t require technology. When they find the right ones, I add them to the site because you might want them for your own special young ‘uns. First up are the Dino Dominoes.

Lorna gave a set to Edward, who is a dinosaur lover. The box says for ages 3 and up which is right where Edward is. Here he is opening the box:

His mom, Sarah sent pictures of him playing with them…

The Dino Dominoes are made of sturdy cardboard and they are the right size for small hands. They are bright and happy and kids can play with them and learn things without realizing that they are learning things.
